The plant extracts composing the P.E.S.® complex are extracted according to a method not using any organic solvents: the complex obtained, free of any polluting residue, is made available to the skin to release all its activity, in its purest and most concentrated state. It represents the quintessence of the range.

The supercritical CO2 extraction technique uses compressed carbon dioxide (up to 300 times atmospheric pressure) at a moderate temperature (around 30°C) as an extraction solvent.

After extraction, a decompression phase (through lowering of the pressure) causes the carbonic gas to change from the supercritical state to the gaseous state, which completely eliminates it from the extract obtained.

Working at low temperature means the principle active ingredients of the extract obtained, which are very similar to the raw vegetal material, are not denatured. This also enables the obtaining of100% natural extracts free of any residue of extraction solvent. This extraction process using supercritical CO2 is considered to be organic.
