BURDOCK

Burdock is a flowering plant from the Asteracea family that grows in every piece of land available (fields and along roadsides…) The little spiny heads on top of the plant are catching on to fur and clothing and the legend says that they were the inspiration for Velcro. Burdock roots have been known and used for decades to relieve some skin conditions such as psoriasis, acne and eczema. It also has antiseptic, antibiotic and antifungal properties.
