COCOA

The cocoa tree is a small evergreen tree native to South America. Mayas and Aztecs were using cocoa butter as a healing and hydrating balsam against sun burn in ancient days. The butter is very rich in tannins, antioxidant polyphenols and fatty acids: antioxidant polyphenols are an active part in the anti-aging process, the astringency of tannins tones the skin, and fatty acids restructure the epidermis cornea layer and keep the skin moisturized.
